ONE4all is made of solid wood sealed with clear varnish. The safety system is suitable for children up to 24 months of age.

A practical detail: The ONE4all gate can be opened in either direction.

The set: ONE4all 1+1 comes with the following components:

o 1 gate element (length = 0.9m; height = 0.7m)
o 5 fence element (length = 0.9m; height = 0.7m)
o 6 rubber-coated safety foot
o 6 connector rod
o 2 wall connections
o 1 set of assembly fittings and instructions

Installed dimensions: The usable* installed length of ONE4all 1+5 as safety gate is maximum 4,85. When installed as a playpen as shown, the outer dimensions are approx. 1.50m x 1.70m.

Modularity/ extendibility:

Since ONE4all is an integrated system, you can combine all ONE4all components with each other in any conceivable configuration. This means that later reconfiguration is "child's play".

*the usable length is less than the sum of the element lengths because only a zigzag installation can ensure the necessary stability in this kind of gate system. Setting up the elements in a straight line does not afford sufficient stability and is therefore unsafe. The construction and varnish conform with EU norms EN 1930, EN 12227-1, EN 71-3

Of course it's up to you to decide which safety gate to purchase. But please take a few minutes to read some convincing arguments why we believe our system is the very best:

1. Technical details 

o The gate element can be opened in either direction
o The fence elements are equipped with feet that fix them in place using a stable three-point connection
o Our construction prevents children's fingers from being pinched (no shifting of two elements against one another since the elements are not hinged, but rather fixed)
o No danger of accidents due to the ladder effect (see below: "What is the ladder effect?")
o No small parts in the fence connections that could be swallowed accidentally (all elements firmly screwed together)
o No loose "stick-on feet", but rather non-shiftable safety feet with clean-fitting rubber bases
o Important: All product components are sealed with dirt-resistant clear varnish. This not only looks better; it also seals the naturally porous wood surfaces to prevent germs from permeating the wood.
o Varnish prevents wood splinters

2. Finishing

o Only highest-grade wood is used
o Only wood with permissible moisture levels for quality workmanship is used
o All edges are rounded (not "rough-sawn")
o Sweat- and saliva-proof double coat of varnish (varnish conforms to EN 71-3)

3. Service

We believe that you have a right to proper and fair service – that's simply how we do business. Of course we make mistakes, but we always do everything in our power to correct any problems to your complete satisfaction. Nevertheless: Should you ever be dissatisfied with one of our products, you have the right to return it at any time!

Information on the issue of safety:

It is of the utmost importance after installing the elements to check that a child is unable to push them out of place. It's easy to understand why this is so vital in the case of fireplace and stairway gates. ONE4all effectively prevents shifting through its unique, easy-to-assemble three-point connection between the feet and fence elements.

Feet made of edge-glued plywood (break-resistant) with a rubber base provide a secure foothold – a fundamental requirement for this type of system. The rubber base also prevents the floor from getting scratched.

Feet that are only connected at one point (e.g. with a single screw), cannot provide this level of security. In purely technical terms, they don't really have a function at all!

What is the ladder effect?

We speak of the ladder effect when structural features of a "safety gate" encourage climbing. This is always the case when horizontal crossbars are mounted in such a way that the child can climb up on them as if on a ladder. We don't need to explain the potential dangers this entails.
